The business premises of our client Erpa Instruments in Duiven were very outdated and the existing panels and frames were seriously weathered. That is why Van Heemskerk was commissioned to give this building a complete metamorphosis. We chose to mount a horizontal plate in an anthracite gray color (RAL 7016) and to use flashing in a striking orange color as an accent on all corners and edges of the building. The great thing about this application is that the current plating can remain in place and this is an enormous saving on demolition costs. During new construction it regularly happens that sandwich panels are damaged. If the construction has to be delivered, the client also wants the damage (often made by subcontractors) to be repaired. This was also the case with the new construction of the Marnix Sign business premises in Rijssen. The damage in the flat panels has been repaired by means of sanding, filling and refinishing, and in addition, the entire bottom panel with micro-lining has been sawn out and replaced with a new piece of panel. Everything has been finished by our experts in such a way that it is no longer visible where the damage has been.
